Syno International is a global data-driven company specializing in consumer data collection, processing, and analysis. With clients and partners worldwide, we build and maintain a suite of products for survey creation, respondent management, data delivery, and large-scale data lake solutions.
We are looking for a person to join our development team and take responsibility for improving, creating, and developing our in-house software solutions. Our technical stack consists of PHP 8, Symfony 5, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Vue.js v3, Javascript, AWS, Git, and many more.
What You'll Do:
Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested PHP/Symfony code
Write automated tests (unit, integration) for essential parts of the system
Design, adjust, and optimize database schemas (MySQL, MongoDB)
Improve the performance, stability, and scalability of existing systems
Design and implement new features
Improve existing functionality
Our expectations:
Technical Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with PHP 8+ and Symfony (this is your home territory)
Solid knowledge of MySQL, including:
designing and altering tables
handling migrations
performance optimization techniques
Experience refactoring code
Practical experience writing automated tests and embedding testing into development workflow
Solid understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and clean architecture
Bonus Skills
Infrastructure understanding:
Linux server management
load balancing
automation and deployment pipelines
AWS ecosystem
Experience working with Redis, queues, or job runners
Soft Skills
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve complex technical challenges
Willingness to propose meaningful improvements
Fluency in English
Ability to visit our Vilnius office when needed
